The Still Point
Inhale…
Take a deep, slow breath from the colors.
Welcome them within you.
Smell the joy that comes out of them.
Feel the warmth.
Allow the freshness of the freezing cold to play with you.
Hear the sound of colors coming in multiple harmonies.
Let the music happen through you.
Be an instrument.
Be music of colors. Laugh, dance and twirl around with them.
… Exhale
Dissolve in your breath to recreate yourself again.
There is a tiny spot deep within us, that cannot be reached by any mental effort.
Only by stopping. Inside heart.
These 33 minutes are designed for exactly that.
You sit comfortably, watch slowly changing colors, and follow your breath. The artwork on the screen is a portal, not just a painting. As you move through in silence you enter back into yourself. There’s a remembrance in each shape, color and light that reminds you of the beauty that we all share and the silence we are made of.
Breathe Colors is a color-guided open eyes silent meditation practice rooted in simplicity. It is designed over my latest still motion artworks..

Arrival and Alignment
This is a 22+ minute open-eyes silent meditation in front of a screen, so a comfortable sitting position with a straight spine and no tension is key.
The meditation begins by slowing the pace. Through calm self-guidance and simple breathing cues, attention is brought out of the busy mind and into the body. This creates a sense of safety and openness — an inner “alignment”.
During this time (around two minutes) you may stay with your eyes closed. Do it as you feel — the screen remains blank and there is nothing to miss. At the end of the “alignment” you will hear a clear sound to remind you to open your eyes.
Entering the Infinity of Colors
What if we think of colors as light refractions forming a certain frequency to sense?
You are invited to breathe colors, letting them spread, deepen, or soften within you. Transformations are slow and almost imperceptible. There is no right way to do it — some people feel warmth, movement, emotion… subtle vibrations or energy shifts.
Again, no tension, no mind pressure. Please keep in mind that too much focus on the screen for long periods of time can be exhausting, so let things happen in a natural way.
Breath as a Bridge
Breath gently connects inner and outer experience. It becomes the vibration that carries colors through the body, allowing tension to release and awareness to expand. The process is slow, natural, and intuitive.
Silence as Support
The silent soundscape of colors act as a holding structure, helping you stay present while leaving enough space for your personal aspect and inner imagery to emerge naturally.
Integration and Landing
Toward the end, the meditation gradually guides you back, allowing the deep color breath to dissolve into subtle sensations. You take your time to integrate what was felt, without the need to explain or label it.
I believe Art is kind of a channel. A meditation. A language that needs no translation.
A wonderful experience that I wanted to share with others.
So I took a deep, slow breath from the flowing colors and this project came to life ❤️.
Ingrid Magalinska: How My Breathe Colors Artworks Come to Life
Living dialogues between color and breath
I used my latest Breathe Colors paintings to create video broadcasts that inspire the viewer to “inhale” colors and graphics from the artwork, and use them as a medium to gather powerful energies of relaxation, balance and recreation. The viewer dives deeply into a visual meditation, with eyes and heart opened to reveal the transmission.
Light expresses itself in an infinite variety of ways. Visual art is the form in which Light has chosen to manifest itself through me. And that is an honor and a blessing.
How exactly does this happen?
A deep symbol comes first – often multi-layered and initially not even fully understood. It’s like a seed. I don’t create this symbol, I recognize it and welcome it to unfold and become the root of the artwork.
The Muses
In the process of creation of Breathe Colors, Muses are the channel, not the archetypes. Archetypes are constants. The quiet presence of the Мuses is what opens up the stream for a certain period. Having the helpful Muses around, creativity flows easily and organically.
The Archetypes
The archetypes that I use in the Breathe Colors series are kind of structural forces from my inner field.
Big cats, birds, bears – these are not just images. They are grades of consciousness that form an inner universe. They do not directly inspire each work, but create the energy structure where creativity happens.
The Breathe Colors characters… all of them actually speak of the same thing: energy transformations and integration of opposites. Finding light sparkles in the pure darkness, the joy of witnessing the high raise of something that seems to have fallen… typical aspects of my inner world 🙂.
The field of Creation
My understanding of creativity is not “I create”, but “something creates through me”. To be the first witness to something unique happening is a huge honor and blessing for me.
In the field of creation, effort dissolves into the absence of time and space. Even physical pain may temporarily cease. The experience is purely transcendental – a complete merging with the artwork.
I go through periods of strong flow and periods of silence. Something like inhalation and exhalation. I deeply respect this process in its wholeness — inner alchemy, where Muses transform deep symbols to celebrate the beauty around.
“Breathe Colors” in one sentence
A process of inner alchemy, where Muses transform deep symbols through me to celebrate the beauty around.

Think of me as a shiny being under cover — in an ordinary (and quite popular among humans) body. 😄 I love to play and have fun with the energies of beauty, often changing costumes to keep the suspense high.
For many years I was dressed in a suit of a successful Illustrator with a Children’s Book jacket underneath. I was looking at the world through Fine Art sun glasses under a wide-brimmed-black-and-white Graphics hat. I was inspired by the immense beauty around. I wanted to capture even a tiny bit of it and spread it.
Until a day came and strange things happened…

Lines suddenly started leaving the surface under my drawing tools and rushed into the 3D space forming sculptures of flat graphics.
Colors started breathing in still motion within my digital paintings.
I totally switched to a new look. That was how my Graphic Sculptures and Breathe Colors artworks came to life.

Do I need any special skills or training to practice BC?
Nope. We all have special skills we don’t even know we have. Breathe Colors is only a tool to invoke and awaken some of them. So we’re good to go.
Do I have to keep my eyes open all the time?
Think of Breathe Colors not as an art showup, but as a presence that you need to feel. So you’re invited to “breathe” with your eyes naturally, no preasure. Please be aware that forcing yourself to stare or focus on a screen for long periods of time can be tiring. You should listen to your inner guide and close your eyes each time you feel like it 🙂 and for as long as needed.
Are we talking about a video or something like that?
Yes and No. I say Yes, because you are actually watching a video, that’s technically the form it appears in, and No, because it still remains a static painting and all changes take effect through long periods of time. Think of it as artistic transformations, sort of.
Can I donate extra funds?
Sure, thanks! Your support will be greatly appreciated, it will help me keep the project running. Here’s a link: linkcomeshere.com
